Since 1995, Sintra and its mountains have been UNESCO World Heritage Sites, recognized for their unique combination of incredible landscapes and historical heritage that captivate us with every step.

Serra de Sintra is one of the richest places in biodiversity in Portugal and a true refuge for the local flora and fauna. Here, the preservation of species and ecological balance are essential for keeping this ecosystem healthy and lush. That’s why nature conservation is something we take very seriously!

At Moinho Dom Quixote, our garden, esplanade, and vegetable garden are part of this great natural wealth, and we invite everyone to help take care of this little piece of paradise. When you're here, remember that you're in a very special place, where every corner contributes to the care and preservation of the Serra de Sintra.

And of course, we can't forget to mention that we're very close to the famous Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Portugal, where the Serra de Sintra meets the Atlantic Ocean. A place of unique beauty, deserving of all our care and respect.
